Are we seeing the same thing happen as last year? Ottawa got out to a huge lead and basically fell apart. Are they going to be an easy out this year? Will they bust next year?

Kind of a poor comparison.
The Sabres last year dominated wire to wire then sank at the end.
Ottawa had 2 hot months and have stunk for 2/3rds of the season, limping into the playoffs.Comment

They still have stars on the team and won't get rid of them. That's the biggest difference I can think of.

I've thought that since the season Buffalo knocked them out. I was shocked to see them lock him up last off-season. He is terrible.Comment
