I think he's worth whatever some other team wants to pay him... I'm rather tired of him personally.

So am I. Sure, its fun to watch him skate, but it's also pretty ****ing aggravating to watch him cough up the puck many times instead of shoot it in the net. :ill:

I've gotten past the fun to watch part long ago... I know how it inevitably ends so I don't care to see it anymore.

not to mention he cost $3.5 million this year. I would trade him for a draft pick or two in a heartbeat!

Now, I am not saying I am tired of seeing him skate so well and coughing up the puck or just wonder how can a player skate so well but not able to finish or hit the open guy but the guy does have a knack for opponents get a stick on him to slow him down and getting a penalty as a result...Makes me wonder how he learned to play..He seemed like he just grew up on a pond playing hockey by himself with no opponents or teammates because he gets lost at times with other people out there on the ice.

I should try and remember this. I have a feeling if he gets dealt for just a draft pick a lot of people who said things like this are going to be bashing Darcy for not getting enough.

He learned how to play hockey from the Russian figure skaters.... :snicker2:

I just want to see him go, and his salary too. A draft pick wouldn't bother me for him, same thing with Humpty Dumpty Connolly. :ill:

I've beyond sick of Max. Problem is, everytime I get disgusted with him he will do just enough to make me think that he has something. It's time to move on. This guy has been with the team way to long to be making that kind of money and not producing. I'm sick of it.

He should of been moved two years ago for defensive help...We might actually have a trophy in the house.

Typical woulda coulda should a player, WE need to move on, cause he isnt a team player and has always been selfish and never embraced the fan base or the team philosphy
He gets hurt every year
Trade him and move on

actually, I will say this...he is the typical - when the team wins I can play within the system player...when the team struggles I have to do more to help player...whether the motivation is selfish or not - I don't know.

Without looking I would say that is Max. I'd say about 2.5 a year.

Max doesn't have a hockey "IQ". What ever decision he makes is wrong. You have to make this decision usually in a matter of seconds and he always makes the wrong one. When he is suppose to pass, he shoots and vice versa but when he does pass it is too late and when he does shoot it is too late. He doesn't have that scorer's "touch" or that something special. It is a shame that it was wasted on all that speed and skating.

He was great with Roy and Vanek. He can only be succesfull with the right players. Lindy has done the worst job as HC that I could ever dream he would have. Max is not supposed to be on the 4th line. Last year he had a great season and almost made the all star team.

You are right about Lindy this year. Roy, Vanek and Connolly were tearing up the league when Max was injured and he took that line apart.
