What is your point? They acquired several new players to help with that turnaround. It wasn't solely because of Briere.

Between the two teams, that's a 62-point swing. If Briere accounts for just a TENTH of that, then it's the difference that puts us ahead of them, in the playoffs.

I highly doubt it. They will be back to the playoffs next season and things will continue to progress from that point.
