Dolphins - Agree To Seau Trade

Dolphins | Agree To Seau Trade - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
4:30 PT: Updating previous reports, the Miami Herald reports the Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers have agreed to parameters of a trade that would land the Dolphins LB Junior Seau. Seau is expected to join Miami either Tuesday or Wednesday, as long as he passes a physical, NFL sources said. The Dolphins are expected to send the Chargers a sixth-round draft pick in 2004 that could be upgraded to a fifth-rounder based on performance.

He's a good player, but I'm not nervous. Just another example of the phins going after another over the hill, Old player.

Why are the Chargers getting rid of Junior? He's been there his whole career and he's loved by the fans. I swear, I hate all this moving around of lifetime players on one team! It SUCKS!

a 6th rounder?? Wow... who is in charge now out there?

Seau, currently, is worth a 3rd or 4th. Heck, I would have given up a 6th for him here in Buffalo. Talk about great depth!

They just wanted to get rid of him becuase he is too much money, he is due a 2.7 mil roster bonus soon, yesterday actually but it was pushed back. His cap figure is like 5.8 mil this year or something absurd like that, they were gonna just cut him but the draft pick is just a formality, nothing important, the fins just want to make sure he doesnt sign elsewhere. If the bolts wanted a 3rd or 4th, the phins would have just waited for him to be released June 1st. Can't wait for Henry to run his old wrinkly a$$ over.
              Beware the sack master!

How can they fit Griese in under their cap after taking in a huge contract like that?

Let em have him, if he isn't in the gap like a nose hair off the line, he is a average Lb now-a-days. He cheats up and trys to get in the back field when the ball is snaped, takes himself out of the play most of the time.

6th rounder. Miami got a good deal even if it's only for a year or 2. He's still a good ball player.
