The Buffalo Sabres have announced they will be holding a press conference tomorrow at 10am in order to wrap up the season. Head Coach Lindy Ruff, General Manager Darcy Regier, and managing partner Larry Quinn are expected to be on hand.

WGR will carry the press conference live on our air starting at 10am.

Also Lindy, Darcy and Larry will join Mike Schopp and the Bulldog in studio tomorrow at 5 o’clock. That will replace our WGR round table discussion.

I would ask Quinn why we should think they will get Miller and/or Pominville done when they could not get Drury or Briere done.

I would follow up with asking about Kennedy, Gerbe, etc.

I would probably ask him how much pressure he feels with the entire fan base breathing down his neck. I'd also ask him if it's really worth saving month (cap wise) when they miss the playoffs and lose all that income.

Like what measures are in place now so f-up's like the management staff can be replaced by 2 gorillas?

Yeah, all of these questions will be rehearsed and sugar-coated to the T.

Schopp and the bulldog work for the Sabres basically, there will be no hard questions... the billionaire doesnt want to get embarassed.

"Who decided not to resign Chris Drury? Because if nobody decided to not resign him then we can only conclude that the FO is incompetent, correct?"

I'm pretty confident his mind was made up to play for the Rangers. I don't how the dumbest person would let someone like him just walk. There had to be more to that story.

There is plenty of smoke to the story that he agreed to an extension. It seems as if Quinn and/or Tommy G. would not sign it.

Of course, that could be all BS too.

How sad. One game into the real season, and we're doing a final wrap-up already.

What a difference a year (and a couple of players) makes.

I know Quinn is pretty dumb but I have a hard time believing they would just refuse to sign him. But hey, I guess you never know.
