The 6-foot-1 Jones is currently being scouted by several NFL teams as the NFL Draft looms on April 26-27. The Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, St. Louis Rams, Green Bay Packers, and Oakland Raiders have shown interest in the former UAPB receiver.

Jones led UAPB with 47 receptions for 793 yards and three touchdowns in 2007. His best season at UAPB was in 2006, when he had 38 receptions for 933 yards and 13 touchdowns, helping the Golden Lions win the Southwestern Athletic Conference Western Division championship.

Jones has been projected as a fourth-fifth round pick by several scouts.

It says he has the size and speed to be an NFL receiver... I can see it talks about his speed but I dont see the size - do you know how big he is?

Sounds like the kind of prospect that could be worth a late round gamble, but not a guy who is going to make an immediate impact.

Holy crap!

Stats alone look good!

he had 38 receptions for 933 yards and 13 touchdowns

That's a 24 yard/catch average and roughly 1 TD in every 3 catches!

the scary part about those numbers though is how deceiving they could he was playing against cornerbacks that are bagging groceries right now.
