4:34 PT: Updating previous reports, the Miami Herald reports the Miami Dolphins are likely to dump LB Derrick Rodgers once they officially land LB Junior Seau (Chargers). If the team trades or releases him prior to June 1, he will count $1.5 million against the Dolphins’ salary cap. If they trade or release Rodgers after June 1, he will only count $750,000 against the cap.
