Pee Test Issue Could Hurt Combine

The controversy that has emerged regarding receiver Charles Rogers' "positive" combine urine test for apparent dilution could, according to a league source, prompt even players to pass on the annual scouting combine.

Players who participate in the combine must submit to urinalysis. Many agents advise their clients who'll be working out that it's important to remain fully hydrated throughout the various stages of the combine workouts. With at least one other player getting dinged for having a diluted sample, the word is that agents will be even more likely to recommend in the future that their guys decline to participate in the combine drills.
