We need a back-up QB in the worst way. JP is gone after this season and we'll have Hamdan left, so I think we need a project back-up to be there.
Let's spend a day 2 pick on a QB we can work with and get him in the game if necessary.

then we'd have ourselves another "controversy" on our hands. lol joking aside, yes we do, however i dunno if i'd wanna go the draft route for that

I agree. I see no reason why we can't pick up a veteran as needed. I am not sure if right now Buffalo has the ability to spend more picks on QBs.

Kyle Wright.
Had a difficult time at Miami, but under a bad coach for a very poor Hurricanres team.
Has the measurables in 6ft4, 220lbs, and mobility having run a 40 of 4.6.
Impressed many with his willingness to simply work hard and put in extra practices at the combine working with the lower ranked guys.
I think with proper coaching, he would be an excellent addition to the roster and within a couple of seasons would be a quality No2.

Give me a veteran for this year, then draft one in '09.

We definately need a veteran player who trent can learn from, and won't mind sitting the bench. I think the best player to fill that role right now is trent dilfer

If we trade down our #11, I'm all for snapping up Joe Flacco round 2.

If the Bills draft a QB, I think that it would be a later round selection who will end up on the practice squad.
I think that the coaches see something in Hamdan - After all, they cut Craig Nall in favor of him.

If there was a lineup of 5 guys and they said pick out Hamdan for $1M cash prize, I would have a 20% chance of winning because I have no idea what this guy looks like.

There's always capable vet Backup QBs around, even after the draft. I think it all depends on whether JP is going to stay around or not.

We can easily sign a veteran backup next year. I don't think we need to pick a QB.
