DT Tom Sestak was a 17th round selection out of McNeese St.

I was a kid when he played. He was a man among boys, before his knees went bad after 6 years. Just dominated the middle like few ever have.

I don't get the love for Joe Ferguson. I watched him be awful year after year. He's the reason I will never hang my head down because I associate it with Joe and losing.

Very nice guy but not the player we thought we were getting.

You have to put Pat Williams in I would think. Hopefully in a couple years we can throw Trent in there eh?

god i forgot about holecek im having flash backs about the massive deal butler gave him circa 1997.

just comical what butler did to bills around that time paid flutie and RJ like 6 mil each paid if i remember right holechek like 4 mil and this is when cap was liek 70 mil.

we have never climbed out of that salary cap purge we had in 2001. and its becuz of guys like holechek

Charles Romes was a 12th rounder and became a very sound cover corner. He would be a viable candidate for one of your CB positions. i think Bobby Chandler was a fairly late pick of the Bills for one of your WR slots!

If we're going outside of the draft and including street free agents, Kent Hull would qualify for center IMO.

Sestak, DT, 17th. Stratton, LB, 12th. Byrd, CB, 4th. Chandler, WR, 7th.

Kent Hull is a little bit of a gray area. Yes, he was undrafted. However, he signed with the USFL for three years first.

When I think "undrafted free agent" in this sense, I think of a player who enters the draft, does not get picked up by an NFL team, and then a team takes a chance on him, signs him, and keeps him. If a guy is on his second team, that's more like a regular free agent.

Should I pick one of these guys:

2 45 Todd Collins QB Michigan
12 313 Brian McClure QB Bowling Green State
2 48 Matt Kofler QB San Diego State
8 202 Todd Krueger QB Northern Michigan
5 116 Dan Manucci QB Kansas State
5 115 Fred Besana QB California
3 70 Gary Marangi QB Boston College
8 192 James Harris QB Grambling State
13 336 Dan Darragh QB William & Mary
Benny Russell QB Louisville
Dennis Shaw

And don't say Frank Reich over Ferguson.

Jeff Wright sucked sack.

Take a second look at super bowl 25 game film and tell me if you still think Jeff Wright sucked sack.

Jeff Wright sucked sack.

Here are Wright's stats ( they didn't count tackles back then as a stat... which looking back is absolutely ridiculous... )

The man was good for 5-6 sacks per year. Not bad for a nose tackle.

He also had 11 tackles in Super Bowl XXV
