rules for the bowling ball shot

Since the Zone tailgate party has taken over Stadium Sportswear, the Range has decided to hold theirs in conjunction with the Pinto Guy party for Opening day. Anyone visiting must be aware of the rules for the bowling ball shots
As most people know, the thumbhole of the bowling ball is filled with a cherry liquer.
step one: after ensuring the thumbhole is full...lift the ball and step back from the bar
step two: left the ball up over your head and press the thumbhole to your lips
step three: drink the shot...it only stings for a bit
step four: drop the ball on the ground in front of you, trying to land the thumbhole straight up
    step five: blow the horn
step six: pick up the ball and replace it on the bar for the next patron

step seven: if the thumbhole does not land straight up (rookies at this are given a little leeway), skip over step five and start over...it's called a penalty shot

The Range, eh? I guess I won't be doing any bowling ball shots then. Too bad.

It's an experience. I did my first back in 1998.

Everytime I get back for a game, I've got to go visit the pinto crew.
            Is Kenny's streak still going?

The bowling ball shots are an all-time classic. I did them way before I even found any of these sites. Complete with the fish-drop, which I found utterly disgusting. And then did another shot.

The fish drop was taken out of the mix a few years ago but Kenny may reinstate it this year with one extra ball. I don't mind the bowling ball shots but the fish part is, IMO, completely unhealthy.

One thing to watch out for (especially for rookies):

If at first you don't succeed, don't drop the damned ball on your foot!
