Biggest Bust Preditions on ESPN First Take...

They just were talking about who may possibly be the biggest busts in the draft...one guy picked Devin Thomas because of his lack of play time and another guy chose Malcom Kelly because of his slow 40 time and his attitude.

Interesting...if the Bills swing and miss on a WR that high, or at any spot, it'll haunt us for years to come. We NEED a productive WR...I hope they choose wisely....

Who knows really? I love how someone is predicted a bust before they even participate in an OTA.

Thomas has the speed and size to make it. I don't see him being a bust, but he'll take some time to develope at the NFL level.

Kelly, as high as I was on him shouldn't be drafted in round #1... Too many concerns. Sweed barely played in 2007 and really doesn't seem very impressive in highlight reels. I'm surprised Sweed is not mentioned as bust material.

Hardy is the guy who I believe can be effective early on. His extreme height and jumping ability causes instant match up problems. He might take time to fully develope but his red zone, everyones covered jump ball ability should be utilizeable from day 1.

Nelson in round #2 or rd #3 could be the real gem as a possesion WR IMO.

          4. Jordy Nelson, WR Kansas State
Ultra-productive in his senior year no matter who covered him or what any defense tried to do, Nelson blew up into an unstoppable machine any time he touched the ball. While he's not going to blow past anyone and he's not as physical as his size might show, but he has functional speed and can separate when needed. Outside of a serious injury, there's no bust potential whatsoever. He plays hurt, has nice hands, and can be used in a variety of ways. He'll have a ten-year career as a complimentary receiver. If he goes to a team with a star No. 1, he'll be outstanding.

i agree 100% with everything you said.. and if you listen to modrack talk about the wrs.. im telling you.. he was beaming over hardy.. i noticed it instantly.. he said that hardy creates mismatch problems with everyone he faces.. no one can go up as high as him. he is EXACTLY what we need. if we were to add nelson too.. wow.

              evans, hardy, reed, rosco, neslon.

              sick.

Devin Thomas and DRC are the two names that scare me the most.

Basically if we want production it has to be Hardy

36 touchdowns in 33 games despite being double/triple covered.

                    2007

                    Thomas 13 games 79catches 1260yds 8TD
                    Sweed 7games 19catches 306yds 3TD
                    Kelly 14games 49catches 821yds 9TD
                    HARDY 13games 79catches 1125yds 16TD

                    2006

                    Thomas 10games 6catches 90yds 1TD
                    Sweed 13games 46catches 801yds 12TD
                    Kelly 14games 62catches 993yds 10TD
                    HARDY 10games 51catches 772yds 10TD

                    2005

                    Thomas 11games 33catches 674yds 5TD
                    Sweed 11games 23catches 263yds 0TD
                    Kelly 11games 33catches 471yds 2TD
                    HARDY 10games 61catches 893yds 10TD

Hardy has simply caught more catches for more yardage and more TD production than all the others. He has more TD than Thomas and Sweed .... combined !!!!!

Thomas is a one season wonder who has as much chance of being Robert Meacham as he has of being Dwayne Bowe
