11. Buffalo. WR Devin Thomas, Michigan State. The negatives: Only a one-year starter, not always focused on the task at hand, one leg is shorter than the other. The positives: a 6-2, 4.45-ish deep threat with good hands. It might take him a year, but he should be a good pro.

My post:
Um, is this common knowledge? is Devin Thomas the new matt Barnaby?

i'd have liked to known the measurements to see how miniscule the difference is. obviously it's not like he's a pirate or something with a huge gimpy walk. especially with 4.4 time.

it just seems like this is one of those totally made up combine "issues".

"hey jim, this kid's left leg is .000008 inches shorter than the right leg."
"that's it. The kid's going to have to wait to get a walk on chance in camp. I'm dropping him out of the 1st round."

We don't need a deep threat - Evans and Parrish fulfil that role.

We need a big WR of 6ft4+ who can move the chains and has 4.50 speed. Both Sweed and especially Hardy fit the bill for the Bills.

Dont a lot of people have legs slightly longer than the other??

Only thing that happens is your hips/spine may develop problems from the uneven legs over time...

Gosh, I hope Saturday afternoon gets here fast. I almost think we have reached the point of paralysis by analysis.

I also heard Devin Thomas's mother has a knee on her forehead and they call her Neecee!

He can only run in circles, or on the side of a hill.

Does that mean hes the best prospect for running the slant?

I could care less... he has no issue if he can run that fast

If sounds like a pretty shallow list of negatives. How is it even relevant if "deep threat" is listed as a positive? I mean crap, is one leg like six inches shorter? Because it could be a negative in that case if he is jumping off the wrong foot.

"What an amazing athlete. He can 360 dunk jumping off his left foot, but he can't reach the back board jumping off the right."

Only thing that happens is your hips/spine may develop problems from the uneven legs over time...The body by nature is assymetric.

Ever look at the differences in people's faces from one side to the other.

This was a big deal for Thomas in college. Sometimes he would inexiplicably run a 360 in his route.

If the guy really has one leg longer than the other, just imagine the juke moves he could put on some DBs!

I think the one-year-starter neg is legit.

Raymond Berry, the hall of fame wide receiver, had a leg size differetial (LSD) of over an inch but he put up some numbers. Of course, he had John Unitas throwing to him:

Berry, who played with special shoes because one of his legs was shorter than the other, was beset with poor eyesight and had less-than-blazing speed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymond_Berry

Look at it this way: If the guy can run a 4.45 now, just think about how fast he will be if the crack Bills medical team can find a way to even out his legs.

I have solved it for them:
