It's whether he's most ready to step right in to play the #2 role. Right now, his skills reflect that of a slot WR moreso than a #2, according to most scounting reports.

If we select him, it's the belief of the staff that he can make the adjustment quickly but others such as Sweed, Kelly & Thomas may be more ready right now to start at the #2 WR spot.

If we go a different route in rd#1 Jordy would be our rd#2 guy...

but not sure how ready and how much of an impact he can make on day 1

I like Nelson, but only as part of my pipe dream of 2 WRs and a TE with our top 3 picks. I really don't think he will be as good as Thomas, Hardy, Sweed or Kelly.
