All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Re: We should go back into the second immediately!!
Seeing how we don't know what Lee Evans is going to do and we also need a big TE, I would definitely do that. Trade back into the 2nd round for either Marcellus Bennett or Malcolm Kelly.
Re: We should go back into the second immediately!!
Whats with all the TE tallk? And i promise this is my last post anti-TE.
-How is a TE in the late 2nd or even 3rd round a priority>? BPA, then fine i understand. But isn't a skilled position that gives us depth w/ upside more pressing?
-IMO we really need D-line & LB depth. & O-line depth too.. TE DEPTH not STARTER is what we'd be getting with a TE next even w/a trade up...
---IMO a stud FB is waaay cheaper & could be had later in the draft and could be just as reliable to Trent Edwards as a target. He sure nailed Fred JAckson alot last season... We'll see how it plays out....

No, a starting TE is more important then any #5 WR. We can go from a TE rating of 1 to 7, or from backup WR from 5 to 5.3.
TE would give us a much bigger impact at this point. No question.

Re: We should go back into the second immediately!!
So you wanna get our starting TE in the bottom of the 2nd round and not a specific one either. So it sounds like you want BPA- TE or Best TE Available. Right?
I just don't see that helping this team much. Sure it would if thatTE turns out to be a star player and fast. Like this season, but the odds are it's not going to happen with that level of pedigree or just us taking BTEA.. All the depth i mentioned in my 1st post are important because they are skilled positions and if a starter goes down we will be glad to have depth.. TE depth is almost silly.. But i respect all opinions from Bills fans since we after all are individuals...You have yours, i have mine...
