we now have 2 guys who can destroy you on kick returns.

teams were kicking it away from mcgee. now we will kill them 3 ways.

if our D is as good as i think it is, we now also have 2 guys who can return punts well. if we force 2 more punts a game, that's 2 more shots for these guys to return it.

over a course of a season, that's a lot of extra yards.

we were 30th and 31st in O and D yet won 7 games. that's because of how great our red zone D and special teams were at times. if we help both of those AND move up our rankings, we can win a whole lot more games.

this is a good thing.

Teams might shy away from even punting and take on riskier 4th and distance attempts.
