A couple of early draft trades worked in the Bills’ favor.
Baltimore, which held the eighth pick, and New Orleans, which held the 10th pick, both had been viewed as potentially taking a cornerback in the first round. Both, however, traded out of the top 10 to teams (New Orleans and Jacksonville) seeking front-seven defensive help.
