Modrak was first asked what the market was for JP now that 13 QBs were taken (12 different teams). He started to answer, then paused, then asked if he should answer the question. He then stated, "JP's with us and we're glad to have him......and this has nothing to do with JP, but those 13 weren't all 1st rounders......the value is with us....JP is with us.....and we're really glad to have him."
Then Brandon stepped up and, "we feel real good about JP being on this roster and we anticipate JP will here and we're excited and JP's excited to be here." He went on to talk about needing and having "two very good quarterbacks."
Asked about if they tried to move him this weekend:
"I'm not going to get into conversations, but 'no."
Asked if that means this team is committed to JP being on the roster in 2008:
"We're committed for JP to be here."
