No less than 5 minutes after the draft is done people start grading out drafts. That's nice but I always say to wait three years to grade a draft.

So, what did you think of the 2005 Bills draft; the last with TD as Prez/GM.

Personally? It was brutal. Yes, KE was hurt in a freak play last year and Roscoe is a decent return man. But Parrish is nothing more than a #3 WR and the rest of the draft? :puke:

Round Pick Overall Pos. Player College
2 23 55 WR Roscoe Parrish Miami
3 21 86 TE Kevin Everett Miami
4 21 122 C Raymond Preston Illinois
5 20 156 CB Eric King Wake Forest
6 23 197 G Justin Geisinger Vanderbilt
7 22 236 RB Lionel Gates Louisville

D- Roscoe is the only thing that saves this from being an F.

btw, good thread.

Me too. I'm tired. Could you change my B to an F?

D.

I don't see anything wrong with grading a draft immediately afterwards, though. After all, you are using different benchmarks to grade the picks than you are three years later when you are grading the actual results.

an F, there is no excuse for 3 years later only having 1 player still on the roster and even then he's not a major contributor to the offense.

I feel as good about it as when it was Butler's last year as GM. This draft was a d-. Roscoe Parrish only saves this draft from being an f by a little bit.

I went with F.

While Roscoe hasn't been a complete bust, if you take a WR in the 2nd round I expect them to atleast be a solid #2. Eric King was serviceable, didn't he retire due to injuries? I actually liked Lionel Gates alot, was disappointed when he didn't make the team.

F....

This draft is attrocious. How many of those guys are even active in the league now?

Definitely an F. Roscoe being at best a third WR and punt returner doesn't make that draft a D IMO.

Wow, this was almost as bad as the 2000 Draft, although I really think if Everett didn't get hurt, he would have finally grown into the TE we have been wanting last year. :(

I'll give it an F. :ill:

I voted wrong.

I suddenly feel like a Florida voter, and demand a recount that takes into account my intentions.

i intended to vote D!

Must have been a couple of people like me who thought Eb meant this year's draft. Or they are related to Donahoe.

What did the original question say? I thought it was pretty clear.

I thought King would be a player. I give it an eff. Depending on how Everett came through, the best could have been a C-, but he did nothing his 2nd year either.

When someone has their vote changed the name doesn't get deleted but the vote does. Notice how the number of names for A and B don't allign with the number stated for that option.

Don't forget that we traded the 1 to get Losman the year before.

When all you get out of a draft is a 4th string WR/punt returner...that's an F.

WTF is up with that? The poll shows three names but only counts two votes.

Am I missing something?
