Even if Hardy isn't ready to start week 1....

....I put him on the field every time we're in the red zone. He'll be almost unstoppable on the ole Jump ball in the back corner of the endzone play.

Or they will key on him because he is a known target and leave someone else open. The options are endless.

With having Hardy on the field in the red zone, opposing defenses may look for us to throw a jump ball in the corner to him and slied some protection that way, which will leave someone else wide open, probably coming from the backfield. I think that we are going to see more TDs from Lynch this year, especially catching the ball from the backfield.

Not to take anything away from the idea of the jump ball in the endzone... but this year it may be less effective than in previous years. Remember.. the push out rule was changed.

We need to make sure we give hardy enough room to fall down still in the endzone.

I just can't wait to see camp pics of him standing next to everyone else in WR drills.

Ideal situation for Hardy but I dont know if he'll be starting this year let alone in week 1, rookie WR's need time to develop.

Hardy was our best pick. Great value and should have impact on this team.

McKelvin got #28 because we already have 27 CBs on this team.

i think even if he doesn't start he will play and contribute from day one.

every play that he gets a man out of the box and we run is a success. he is EXACTLY the size and strength imact we need in this out.

if he can have the same impact that lee evans and josh reed had as rookies, i will be happy..

lee evans was an OUSTANDING rookie.

if hardy gives us 3 TDs, 40 catches and 500 yards he is a slam dunk. he will also be freeing other guys up and most importantly adding size and some physical go up and get it to our passing game.

thing about evans (although he really did have a sub par year) is if you get him open one or two more times a game he can break any of em for 6. that adds up quickly.

reed had over 500 yards as a rookie also at 3rd string.. after his rookie year, i was convinced that he could replace peerless.. then the 2nd year happened.. price left.. moulds got hurt.. ugh.. anyway..

just like pat said.. even if hardy isnt starting, he is going to have a huge impact.

i can not wait.. 6'6" is so friggen hard to defend.
