    Best Friend getting Married on Opening Day!

    My best friend is gettin gmarried on the sunday the bills play the Seahawks. I'm missing opening day. He's trying to get us a limo with directv in it. It's not happening in Buffalo, so catching the game is next to impossible.

    Anyways, i'm so bummed about not getting to see this game. i'll credit him for working really hard at getting us to watch the game, but i have a feelinig we're going to be very distracted at the ceremony.

    Has this happened to anyone else?

    Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

      What's wrong with one of the previous 16 weekends ? Who gets marries on a Sunday anyways, especially opening day.

          Jan hit the nail on t6he head bro. As your BEST friend he shoulda known better.. I was married on a saturday. The very day before we started that awesome strecth of winning games by 30points 3-4 seasons ago.....Sunda weddings are cheaper then saturdays... Send a gift dude.. He wont dare accuse of anything cause he knows he didnt stand up to HER... Your friend is lost...Happens to the best o' us bro...

                My first marriage occured Dec 30th 1995- The Bills set an NFL rushing record beating the Dolphins in the playoffs and it was Don Shula's last game. The Bills haven't won a playoff game since

                  in his defense, i am getting married this memorial day. and for a stretch there, i was worried that if the sabres got into the playoffs that they'd make a run at the cup and we'd miss the game. So while i was bummed the sabres missed the playoffs, i realized i got off lucky from having a real dilema on my hands.

                    Whatever ya gotta tell yourself bro... Sunday weedings during the football season is trouble... I'll post my tale of my best friends wedding later cause wife is yelling "CMON!"

                      Mine was a saturday at noon too! Just in case the Bills did make the playoffs! Wild Card weekend screwed me

                            No offense, but your friend's fiancee is a dumbass.
