    SIGN GERBE AND KENNEDY ALREADY

I defend the management all the time but there would be NO EXCUSE for not signing those guys.

I totally agree. But something tells me Quinn is telling Regier to give Gerbe a contract for a typical 5th rounder...

            Ok.

Hopefully they just move and put everyone out of their misery soon.

Unless Tom is really the one making these decisions, like Eb said. In which case, he needs to sell the team to a local investor soon.

When must they sign these guys by to have them skip their senior years?

I would guess before they register?

Why do you care Mikey if he does sign he's going to be in the AHL and you aren't going to get to see him play because the Amerks aren't the Sabres affilate anymore Portland is or is going to be!

                        You are such a tool!

I care because he's a future Sabre and he looked really good in the Frozen 4. But then again, I still think he's too small and won't be that great of a player anyways.... But still, it's a bad sign if they lowball him and let him go.

Doesn't it seem as though the start point in negotiations with a 5th rounder should be the typical 5th round salary? I don't see how that is a "low-ball".

I am not sure there is a time limit.

I will agree with the "lowball" thing.

Offering a 5th round pick 5th round money isn't a lowball offer for a player who hasn't played a shift in the NHL. They usually have to earn that money before they demand it.
