Hardy our real #1 draft pick

No disrespect to McKelvin, because the WR's were dropping in the draft, we went for the best CB and got him, and YOU da MAN Leodis !
But an offensive stud like J Hardy, is going to shine in BUFFALO!
Leodis has the mumbles, not good for commercials and the like.
But Hardy is the goods! Well spoken, and he's going to put up some points, and end our red zone slump. Can you say 'corner play'? Lob it up, TOUCHDOWN!
We did alright, a hardcore WELCOME to ALL our new BUFFALO BILLS!
    GO BILLS!

Our real #1 draft pick got picked at #11. The WRs were so bad this year that it was the first draft ever where one wasn't taken in the first round.

I'm holding my expectations in check.

I wouldn't expect anything else out of you. But you don't really matter.

            2008 NFL Draft

            From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

            Jump to: navigation, search

The 2008 NFL Draft took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on April 26 and April 27, 2008. For the 29th consecutive year, ESPN televised the draft; the NFL Network also broadcast the event, its third year doing so. Of the 252 selections, 220 were regular selections in rounds one through seven, and 32 were compensatory selections, distributed among rounds three through seven.[1]
No wide receiver was selected in the first round for the first time since the common draft began, even though wide receiver was the most commonly drafted position overall (35 total). Also, there were a record 34 trades made during the draft itself

It wasn't the first draft ever, it happened back in the early 80s I believe, they mentioned it on ESPN after the draft. i think they mean it's the first time since the MODERN draft (7 rounds) that it's happened, which is true. but either way, it is quite a feat...you have to wonder why...here's hoping that Hardy isn't a bum.

Is it negative to not annoit someone before they have even seen the field as a Bill?

I said this team will go 9-7 not 2-14. Is that negative or just realistic?

Potentially annoiting Hardy isn't a very big stretch, unless your negative.

Man for a fish fan, feel the pain has some of the better posts in this bills forum...

I think everyone is high on hardy, but If he goes for something like 40 rec, 500 yards, and 3 td's I won't be disappointed at all... hes a rookie wr... he will be learning, and most importantly getting lee evans open. remember this isn't the james hardy show, he was drafted to get lee open.
