league source tells us that some NFL teams are becoming increasingly frustrated with the failure of NFL Europe coaches to use players allocated by NFL teams in lieu of nonallocated players.
According to the source, NFL teams believe that the allocated players should get the nod whenever the allocated player is of equal talent and ability to the nonallocated player. After all, one of the purposes of the league is to allow NFL teams to give the allocated players more opportunities for game experience.
As one team executive told us, "We pay for this league and they want to play a guy who will be back loading UPS trucks right after the season is over."
