Tennessee receiver Kelley Washington said he'd love to be a Patriot, especially after meeting with quarterback Tom Brady and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis in Foxboro Monday.
``Coach Weis is my type of individual,'' said Washington. ``He speaks his mind and let's you know what's going on. He gets the most out of his players. I like that. And after talking with Tom Brady I just think it would be a good fit.''
Washington, a first-round prospect, is considered to be the type of big, downfield target the Pats desperately lack.
``They just don't have bigger guys that can get downfield,'' said Washington, who stands 6-foot-2, 223 pounds. ``Absolutely nothing against Troy Brown, but bigger guys just open up so much more for you. Hopefully I'm on the board when they pick. I'd love to go there.''
