"I'm 23 years old, and I've never even been to a wedding before," he says. "I've been to five funerals and no weddings. So much bad stuff has happened in my life, stuff that is so big, and then this comes along. … Something really nice has finally happened."

Nice read. Sounds like a good kid and a player who could help us.

I'll definitely be rooting for the guy.

that was a good article. even cooler that they managed to do it on a Bills pick and they have the pictures to prove they were following him from the get go.

It's one thing to hear about the guys who struck it rich in the first round. but its funny how "Highschool" joining and NFL team is.

Brought a few tears to my eyes about what he's seen with the deaths of his brothers... I hope he's a Bill for a long time!!

Great article - I'm pulling for Omon in a big way. This is absolutely the kind of guy who can work hard for the Buffalo Bills and if/when he succeeds, in ANY way, we will all love the guy.

I'm pulling for him but he is going to need to really impress some people if he plans on making it.

I'd love to see him succeed with this team. Nothing like solid depth contributing from one of the most physically abusive positions in the game.

I just read that on ESPN myself and was gonna post the link, after reading it I'm glad we drafted him and I hope this kid can flourish and kick some major butt with the Bills, I was high on Wright but after last year I'm not sure.

Maybe he can be the next Fred Jackson and spend a few years as a backup, until he gets his big break when someone in front of him needs a rest.
