Dear Buffalo Bills Season Ticket Holder,

As a loyal football fan and a Buffalo Bills season ticket holder you now have the opportunity to see football history in the making when the Buffalo Bills bring NFL action to Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. For eight games over the next five seasons, we'll need your passion, excitement and VOLUME to show the Bills that they're truly on a home field at Rogers Centre!

As you know, the schedule for 2008 is exciting: the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town on Thursday, August 14 for pre-season action, and then in a classic AFC East rivalry, the Miami Dolphins take the field against the Bills on Sunday, December 7.

Your priority access to purchase tickets for the series starts on Thursday May 15, 2008. However, your access expires on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, so you need to act quickly. We've had more than 180,000 ticket requests, so if you're interested, don't delay.

Anyone else get this email? I received a password to buy the tickets during that time. Hopefully I get them so I can make some dough on resale :$:

I got one. But it looks like you can only buy as many tickets as you have season tickets.

I only have 1 season ticket, so it looks like I can only buy one ticket per game!

I thought about buying a pair to sell back to some goofball from Toronto, but if I can only buy one, I probably won't get good resale for it.

And since I'm probably not going to buy it myself, if anybody wants to buy the ticket thru me, just give me a heads up. Maybe we can work something out.

You know...

there is a hidden message in that email... at least I read it as such...

The plan is to see this through for at least 5 years, which should relieve any worry that the team will move in the next couple of years.

That is probably a contract that will not be broken.

I don't see myself going to any of them unless I know others going and they persuade me.

Where is the best place to sell them. I thought I heard that ebay had a policy of not being able to sell them above double the face value.

 It's kinda a rule that never ever gets inforced, but it depends on what state you live in and everyone always finds the loopholes. Set your ticket worth higher than what you paid for it, and u can sell your ticket for a lot more than double. That's what happened with the Sabres playoff tickets last year.

You do realize you have to pay for all 8, or 3, at once? That complicates things.

******ed? Yes. Problem? No.

I am sure people will be selling them as a set. If not I will happily eat the initial cost with the good possibility of getting a return on the investment.
