Tradition of town support nurtures LGHS football team

The grill is blazing in the back section of The Cats, a restaurant with a warm wood interior and cozy lighting. Fran Edwards is setting red place mats and cutlery on a group of wood tables, and Andy Edwards is arranging chairs around the tables. Their oldest daughter, Shelby, 25, arrives to help out.

The family is preparing a meal for the offensive line of the Los Gatos High School football team, a good thing to do when your son is the star quarterback. The Edwards family realizes that the offensive line's blocking has a good deal to do with a quarterback's success.

Great read.

A lot of people don't realize that Edwards was the top QB coming out of high school but chose Stanford because it was closest to home.

The kid definitely had the character, attitude, and intelligenc to be special QB in this league and I believe that will manifest itself over the next few years in Buffalo.

Trent will be OK as long as he doesn't get injured.

This guy has been VERY injury prone in his career.

Perhaps we just came up with the new nickname for Trent supporters (as in pitching a tent for Trent), as JP has his lickers, Flutie has his flakes. So come on fellow Tents let's unite!
