    Who will win each position battle

    Oman and Barnes for FB
    Oman and Wright for 3 string RB
    4 Johnson, 3 Parrish, 5 Reed for 3,4,5 string.
    2 Anderson(passing package), Fine, 2(blocking package) Royal, 1 Johnson for 1,2 TE
    Bell and Chambers for 2 LT
    Whittle and Preston for C backup
    Ellis and Denney for Kelsays backup (probably will get more plays)
    James and Greer for 3 string CB
    3 Johnson and 2 McCargo and 4 Williams for 2,3,4 backups
    Corner and Youboty for active CB
    McGee and McKelvin for KR
    Parrish and McKelvin for PR. Maybe split time

    mcgee and parrish are two of the best return men... neither should lose their job... at least i would hope.

      McGee is getting a little too old to be returning kicks. I hope McKelvin and Parrish are our guys next year, McGee's role on our team should be purely as a CB.

        True. McGee looked very shaky returning kicks last year and McKelvin is regarded as the next Hester. If Hester was on our team id give him a shot at KR.

          Just a couple of points of clarification:

          Since we run a conventional 4-3 defensive scheme, we will start 2 DTs, most likely Stroud and McCargo, with Williams and Johnson rotating in.

          Both Schobel and Kelsay need backups at DE. Ellis and Denney are the most likely candidates.
          Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
