Agree 100 percent. People try to say Mitchell wont be good because of 3 teams in 3 years. He played more than 1 year in KC and only signed a 1 year deal for the Giants so it isnt like the Giants signed him for 4 years and then got rid of him. They gave him a 1 year deal and then he decided not to resign and came to buffalo. In his last 2 seasons at KC he averaged 100 tackles and 1 int. It may be hard to believe but he has had almost as many tackles in 5 years has joey porter in 9. Porter has 533, Mitchell has 380. Thats only 143 more. Mitchell can way more than that in 2 years.

I am not sure why you are comparing Mitchell to Porter. They are totally different types of players.

With the Chefs, Mitchell was a solid but unspectacular MLB. When he signed with the Giants (like ML23 said, for a year), they moved him to WLB and he played well. Why the Giants didn't resign him, only they know. They don't have a proven replacement for him. And they're not infallible. So hopefully it's their loss and the Bills' gain. At the least he'll be better than Ellison.

Since porter is known as one of the best LBs for the steelers in the last 10 years.

This is a fantasy football article. I think he underestimated Posluszny's tackle total. He was on pace for over 160. I know it was only 2 games, but he's a tackling machine. He was at Penn State and he will be in the NFL.

Porter was aclaimed in large part, unless I am mistaken, in connection with his pass rushing skills. Mitchell is not known as a pass rusher. So the fact that Porter does not put up huge tackle numbers has nothing to do with his impact and the reason why he was so highly regarded.
