Small-school linebacker making big waves in thin class

Even if he hadn’t blazed through his 40-time at the Combine or done more reps on the bench press than all but one other linebacker, Chaun Thompson would have passed the character test with flying colors. Although the West Texas A&M_linebacker is not quite a household name yet, he has had scouts and general managers flipping through their road maps to find where Canyon, Texas (the home of West Texas’ campus) is — about 20 miles from Amarillo. And don’t be fooled by his name — he pronounces it “Shaun” — or by his small school, because this former high school punter/kicker/tight end/cornerback intends to show he can play with the big boys.

    Q&A with Chaun Thompson
You think you're hot **** in a champagne glass, but you're really cold diarrhea in a Dixie cup!
