While his namesake has the college basketball world hanging on his every word, Texas WR Roy Williams is hangin’ out, living the college life.

While Roy Williams, basketball coach, wrestles with the decision of whether he’d rather be in Kansas or North Carolina, Roy Williams, wide receiver and likely top-10 pick in the 2004 NFL draft, has no such tug-of-war playing out in the pit of his stomach.

The younger Roy Williams made peace with himself in January, when he announced he was returning to Texas for his senior season. The NFL millions, the stress of being a high first-round pick, those are on hold for now. On tap are classes. Study hall. The wonders of dorm food.__

Cable TV, too. The Cartoon Network gets plenty of run in Williams’ dorm room, as does “Emeril Live!” He’s thinking about moving into an apartment, and that would involve cooking, something Williams has done all of once, for teammates Sloan Thomas and Tony Jeffery.
