About damn time.

They've only been broadcasting them since 1998.

NFL mandated all games must be shown in HD by the start of the 2008 season, so this has actually been known for over a year now. Either way, good news, and a good time for me to get broken into the Sunday Ticket crowd

are you sure? I thought someone posted last year that it would be 2009 before every game was in HD.

But anyway, good news nonetheless- no less than 14 games in HD and most likely every game in HD. FINALLY.

CBS to offer more HD NFL, all games in HD by 2008

According to a snippet at SignOnSanDiego, CBS (http://www.engadgethd.com/category/cbs/) will reportedly be offering up "five or six games per week this season in high-definition, up from three a year ago." Additionally, the NFL has also declared that "all games must be shown in HD starting in 2008," which means that you can finally stop biting your nails about whether your team's matchup will be shot in HD.

Does this mean all CBS games on the NFL ticket will be in HD or do we have to buy the HD package?

I believe you still have to buy Superfan to get all games in HD, regardless? I actually need the same question answered as this will be my first season getting the package.

I really don't think this would change anything in that regard. This only affects the one or two games a week that didn't get to be on HD. I would think everything stays the same.

Having HDtv and having the Sunday Ticket package are unfortunately two separate purchases. HD is like $9.99 (basic package) per month, and then Sunday Ticket is whatever Sunday Ticket's price is.
