All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Sabres trying to trade Afinogenov Cunucks?

NHL Network's On the Fly that I DVR'd from last night reported that...

The Sabres are trying to trade Afinogenov to Vancouver for their 10th overall pick. The Sabres are said that they like Kyle Beach a 6'3" 216 pds. forward but to get him. NHL draft experts are saying that the Sabres would have to trade up into the 8th, 9th or 10th spot.

If the Sabres make this deal it would give the Sabres 3 first round draft picks in this years draft this draft is supposed to be loaded with talent. Right now they have their own at 13th and the 26th from San Jose that they got in the Brian Campbell deal.

The NHL Entry draft is June June 20–21 @ Scotiabank Place in Ottawa.

yeah, you're right- now that I think about it, Max needs to go no matter what. I'd love to trade him for a big D man or a back up goalie (even as part of a package) but I think the Sabres will have a tough time finding any takers on that deal.
