during the VS. telecast tonight Olzyck made a note about Brooks Orpik being an UFA now he's from Buffalo and the Sabres drafted his brother Andrew he was a 7th round choice, 227th overall, in 2005 he plays for Boston College. two brothers on the same team.

Skill wise he brings a heck of a lot more then Dimitri Kalinin did, I said in another thread a few months ago Id sign him if Pitt let him go, but will they?

He is on my list of d-men I'd like to see Buffalo go after along with Roszival but it has nothing to do with him being from Buffalo or the Sabres drafting his brother.

14 UFAs will not all get re-signed... so I guess we can hope he slips through. Still doesn't mean we're going to get him in the least though.

Pittsburgh will most likely be facing a Buffalo type of situation for the next few years. Too many people to sign for too much money. Those young guys are going to get paid.
