    Royal's Knee Update

He had surgery in January and could miss on-field work at OTA's and June mini-camp.

This isn't all bad. He isn't a guy who could use the reps. One of those other guys could really shine.

I wouldn't be concerned in the least if he is cut sometime this offseason.

I love how DJ said we settled the position to some degree through fee agency.
That's just screams that he know we have ****ty TE's.

Well if everything goes according to plan this year, we can possibly look at TE in the 1st round next year.

Royal is a good blocking TE and a great team leader. We need to find a pass catcher to compliment him. Let's hope that Anderson, Fine, Schouman or Johnson steps up to that role.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I have a feeling that TE is once again going to be our weakest position in 2008 unless somebody from our collection of castoffs and unproven youngsters can emerge from the scrap heap in training camp.
