I just got HD service from Time Warner, unfortunately I haven't gotten the HD tv yet. Anywho I was watching the HD NBC channel and it still looks (and sounds) better than standard even on a standard televisionComment

NBC's HD is the worst. They're the only station that has motion blur on my TV. ESPN and Fox have the best HD IMO.Comment

I believe HD is free with TimeWarner. I am switching to DirectTV so i can get Sunday Ticket this year, but free HD is tempting.

HD is in fact free with Time Warner, so he's not paying extra for anything. Though I don't know how it could possibly look any better, you're getting the same exact signal.
