All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
the Eastern Conference finals version of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
Re: the Eastern Conference finals version of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
I'd take those 4 over the last 4 any day of the week. Pistons/Eagles is a good comparison, except the Eagles didn't lose all 4... they lost to NE, remember? As a Pistons fan, this run has been great. The title in '04 definitely helps keep it from becoming a letdown that we've lost the last three in the ECF. Still, I'd take the Pistons making the Final Four every year and not winning a title over what some of the other teams have gone through.
As for the Bills always being remembered that way, I don't think we ever shake it. Even if we win the Super Bowl this year, that will only help the franchise in general, its fan base and the current players. Those guys on the 90s teams have to live with that. Like I said though... I'd take losing the Super Bowl every year over not making the playoffs any year. At least the first 95% of the season would be enjoyable.
