The new episodes have their moments. It is an American institution, you know. That means The Simpsons when finished, would've run 21 or 22 years!
Whoa!!!!

I haven't watched in like 10 years but I used to love the show.

I haven't regularly watched new episodes since the end of High School, which was 2000, and I have watched maybe 5 new episodes in the last 6 years or so.

I haven't watched it in about that long also, but I always thought it was overrated. Futurama was much better.

In its heyday The Simpsons was the smartest show on television, its a shame its really gone downhill.

Family Guy > The Simpsons

Yes, but if it wasn't for the Simpsons, there would be no Family Guy.

Family Guy > The Simpsons

Family Guy > nothing

I can't stand that show and I don't get it's following at all.

You would probably enjoy the South Park two part episode cartoon wars then, they rip into Family Guy pretty bad.

Family Guy - (minus) Peter = a much better show. Stewie is the best of all.

It's not like the Simpsons where Homer may act stupid but carries charisma about him. Peter is just annoying - occasionally he fits the part well, but usually is just annoying.

I'd rank them as: Simpsons > Family guy > American Dad > Futurama >> South Park >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> King of the Hill

Stewie gets a spinoff show called "Stewie's World and You Just Live in It!"

you are waaay off. Modern animated programming is ranked thusly (only programs still airing new episodes)

Venture Bros. > Robot Chicken > ATHF > Family Guy > Simpsons > South Park > KoTH > American Dad
