    This season...

I am cautiously optimistic at the start of every season, after the draft about the time of camp it starts to get progressivley stronger.

Dont get me wrong, while I love football and generally am just ready for the season I am a Bills fan. I almost never go into a season thinking "this is it this is our season" I guess I just know better.

Now i'll be the first to admit, while we dont generally get a lot of turnover there are ALWAYS unknowns. But man this is the first season in a long time where I genuinley think we have a shot at the playoffs.

    Schobel - Stroud - McCargo - Kelsay
    Mitchell - Poz - Crowell
    McKelvin - Whitner - Simpson - McGee

Thats one of the better D-units we have had in awhile. Young, crazy athletic, fast and most importantly I feel we upgraded 2-3 spots that were most important (apart DE). Not only that but I think we have decent depth at most spots, on D anyway.

Our special teams is ALWAYS good to great, and I think our offense is better. Certainly wont win a lot of games for us, but I think it will be improved and will absolutley keep us in games.

The most important thing for us is that our young guys keep improving, but I believe via the draft/FA we have brought in the type of guys who will do just that. Part of the reason I LOVED the Mitchell signing was what he brings to the locker room. A guy who has won, has the character and most importantly a solid starting vet on a young D.

Im excited man, I really am.

We could be the next NY Giants, we really could.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

honestly the Gints have been a top quality club from top to bottom for years...they just needed Tiki and Shockey to shut their anti-team traps to get things really going.

Out talent is getting better but it's not what the Gints have been. Still I'd like to see things come together for us and we have a good run. I just wish dynasties were built on potential.

The biggest difference, and a big difference it is; is that while Buffalo has some talent on the DL. The Giants are just absolutely absurd with their DL that includes Osi, Strahan and Justin Tuck. That's not even mentioning Robbins either.

Oh, well go ahead and mention Robbins too, then.

the offense is really going to hold us back, particularly if this Lynch thing is as bad as it appears.

And enough of this Club Jauron bull****- we have some of our easier games at the beginning of the year, so this team needs to show up from day 1 if they're going to make something of this season.

So tell us, Bryan; how do you feel 'bout our current coaching staff, and the Bills' chances for the near future? It's not very clear from your posts.

I think the current coaching staff needs beatings.
