I think that with these tickets selling so fast.....

......The team could easily charge more for tickets.

I blame the team for not keeping ticket prices competitive and getting lax on the marketing in the 90's.

The tickets basically sold themselves in early 90's so the team didn't really put a strong focus on marketing. Then before they knew it, they were way behind on sales.

Plus, if the team goes out and wins 10-11 games this year, I'd bet we get close to selling out on Season tickets alone in 2009.

I know that this doesn't account for the big corporate dollars that they cry about every year, but I really think that could be charging more and still selling out.

I definitely think that they should charge a more competitive price for their tickets without a doubt.

Remember when they raised parking $5?

Mikey and others had a **** fit saying Ralph was greedy, this was ridiculous, all sorts of nonsense, even though it's still cheap parking compared to the rest of the league

            It all depends on performance.

10 or 11 wins and fans would swallow a moderate increase in prices.

Another 7-9 or worse season, raising prices would be suicide.

Yeah, but they got over it, and there all good again.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Not sure it would be suicide, but a winning team on the field is certainly the best way to sell tickets, and the best cushion when they raise prices.

I think people treat parking different. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. And if I remember correctly, they raised it $10. And that's where we had the problem. If it had gone from $15 to $20, I think it would have worked. That's why they sent out those coupons. Coupons that I don't expect to get this year.

But you're always going to get people that complain about price increases.

We luck out on the parking. 10 people, 2 cars, $5 a piece. No problem.

Why? It's either raise the prices and make the team profitable or lose the team whenever Ralph kicks the can. I think people would rather pay closer to league average than lose their team.

We *****, but we still pay it. I have no problem with them raising the ticket prices to the league average, especially if it helps the team stay. Sure I will ***** when the prices go up, but I will still pay it.

sorry to repeat myself over and over again but the Bills could charge more for seats than any team in the league and still not rake in the money that the Jones get. it's about corporate boxes and dollars...not fans in the seats.
