Michael W. Bliss may be paralyzed from the waist down, but he can now feel his legs and is inspired to walk again by the pro football player who once shared his plight.

The University at Buffalo student, 21, who was left paralyzed after being beaten in an assault in March, came face-to-face Monday morning with Kevin Everett, the former Buffalo Bills tight end who suffered a spinal cord injury last September.

The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.
