    Lorenzo Neal

Read an article on yahoosports on how Lorenzo Neal is a still a free agent.

This guy can flat out crush people and reminds me of Sam Gash. Age is a concern...but what do you have to lose when Darien Barnes is your fullback?

I say bring him in, he will give Action Jackson and Marshawn a huge lift and help with our interior run game which struggled last year.

      Re: Lorenzo Neal

I have been saying this since Feb!!!! Bring in Lorenzo!~
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
      It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Out of curiousity, why? I like Fred "The Gem" Jackson.

I would love to sign him - but I have the feeling that we are going to use Schouman as the FB and keep Royal, Fine and Teyo Johnson (or Alexander) as the 3 TE's.

Guys get old, and injured, and don't perform like they used to. I'd rather not have him.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I think we always assume that good, big name players are going to be good forever. That's not the case.

Still recovering from an injury, old, etc.... At one time he was an elite player, he might still be one but his body won't allow him to anymore. There's a reason he's still on the street and not on a team.
