All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Arrest could give Lynch problems getting into Canada
Canada is VERY strict about getting into their country with a criminal record. I have a few friends that can't go to Canada because of past problems. In fact, I was once detained in Canada because of I had a mark on my criminal record though the case was eventually dismissed.
The Bills would have to work something out very specific with the country of Canada, if he's convicted, even if its a misdemeanor.

Yeah, they were real strict about letting Ricky Williams play in Toronto.

No ****...right. That's why this is a horrible article.
I believe that Toronto had to have the transaction to sign Ricky Williams go through the provincial government just to sign him. It was a very expedited process and took some arm twisting. Dont be fooled Canada will not just let Lynch in because he's Lynch or because he's on the Bills.

I'm sorry, maybe you can remind the rest of us again what exactly Ricky was arrested for? Cause I can't seem to remember Ricky ever being arrested....for anything!

If they want the optimum drawing for this game they will let him play considering how much cash they are paying the Bills for it. Besides I am pretty sure this isn't a very big deal on the Bills side.

exactly. he is one of our biggest stars and they paid us a s***-ton of money, so Im sure the group in Toronto wont have a hard time persuading the government to let him in!
Re: Arrest could give Lynch problems getting into Canada
I wouldn't be surprised if Canada has a problem letting Lynch in, especially considering he ran over a Canadian. I'm sure Lynch isn't too popular in Canada right now.
Personally, I hope they don't let him in. It would be an excellent reason for Toronto to never get an NFL team. Considering all there players and opponents would be U.S. citizens it would cause a lot of problems if the government was able to ban certain players from games, but also cause a lot of contreversy if you bend all the rules for athletes. Just a thought...
