Bills offensive coordinator Turk Schonert has likely had moments during the first couple of weeks of OTAs where he wanted to eat his hat as his players lacked timing and had inconsistent execution. But all the hard work and repetition looks to be finally paying off. On the last day of OTAs the offense had arguably its most effective day moving the football.
Right from the start in 11-on-11 the offense looked in sync as Trent Edwards completed four straight passes, the first two of which went to Josh Reed whose consistent separation has been a welcome sight for Buffalo’s quarterback. Reed was back from a twisted knee that he suffered late last week and showed no ill effects as he made a diving grab on his second reception. He and Edwards have really clicked throughout the OTAs.
