I remeber he went to Green Bay Packers but then they cut him and i never heard about him again. Man he had a motor i remember a pre season game where he carried 4 or 5 guys on his back and his legs kept on going he got like 15 more yds. Almost every time he came in he slammed through somebody i wish we could of kept him . Im surprised he didnt become a starter for some team. Does anyone know what happened too him? Please reply.

Well, he was the 14th pick in the XFL draft, going to the Memphis Maniax in the second round - but never made their roster

I never knew he was the packer's leqding rusher in 1998- was out of a job in 1999- The Chiefs looked at him but didn't sign.

Chiefs To Look At Holmes, Sign Free Agents

Despite recently passing on taking a look at free agent running back Darrick Holmes, the Chiefs have now scheduled a work out with the Packers' leading rusher in 1998. Holmes was the backup to Thurman Thomas for three years in Buffalo before playing for Green Bay last year. If the team moves Donnell Bennett back to fullback as expected, they'll need a backup for running back Bam Morris. Holmes would be a nice change of pace to Morris.

I remember he went to Indianapolis for a year too and had a shot to start b/c their starter got hurt. Unfortuneatly for him, he got hurt too.

He came to Canada for a season or two.

Can't remember who he played for, but he had a problem holding on to the ball cause our balls are bigger.

Running back is the easiest position to fill. Guys have their moment in the sun and then fade out, who cares? Yonell Jordain, Holmes, Bryson...

That's what the French say but they have yet to prove it.
