I really feel this is not a unfair assessment of our upcoming season. I can see some games going differently and us beating Seattle to start the year to get a little better record. There are other factors you cannot weigh in like injuries and ingame abnormalities that swing a game out of reach.

Just remember this is Holmgrens last season in Seattle, that team will play hard for Mike.

Nice, realistic read......I just want to make the playoffs!!! I don't think 9-7 will do it.

^Well, I may have given Wilson too much credit^

Very valid point FTP, If you asked me which team we would most likely lose to in the AFC West, Seattle would be it. You have to weigh in our talent, being at home and it being the first game. There are early games that always go against the logic from the previous year. You also had to weigh in the fact that we have no glaring weaknesses and it makes it a close game, good teams win close games.

I'll be ecstatic if the computer simulator's prediction of 9-7 and taking a wild card tie-breaker over the Steelers comes true. It's been way too long since the team was in the post-season.

Reasonable assessment with a decent outcome.

I'd like to be the team that screws all the computer models by blowing up and over achieving, though.

If we beat Seattle, solidly, in the first game we could get some pretty good momentum going.

                            Great read.

But I dont think there's anyway 9 wins gets in the playoffs in the AFC this year.
