Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but I am a long time member of BB.com message board. CBS sports has been doing a national poll (playoffs) of who is the best NFL mascot. We destroyed Who Dey (Bangles) in the first round, but are facing tough competition from Houston fans and their mascot Toro. All Bills fans need to show up so vote now and vote often.

At roughly 8-feet tall, Billy Buffalo intimidated the tiger with his size and then used his 600 pounds to crush the competition. Who Dey will be feeling this defeat for some time and might think twice about entering another mascot contest.

so the Buffalo Bills are named after Buffalo Bill Cody, a guy who got the nickname for killing a bunch of buffalo, and the mascot is a blue buffalo. Sorry for being dense, but why aren't the Bills/mascot, western/cowboy related?
