He was the biggest Bills fan that was in the world spotlight on tv every Sunday. I think Ralph should create a plaque in honor of him and not just him, those who have passed on that were absolutely significant in Bills history. What do you think?

That would be a good idea. A place on the wall of fame would not.

Makes sense to me too.

Maybe add a nice dedication at the 12th man wall of fame. Who could ask for a better symbol than the face of Tim Russert below the "12th man"?

I would name the press box after him.

A plaque on the wall would be nice, but there better be room for other nationally-known 'ambassadors' for the team and the top spot should be reserved for Chris Berman.

A moment of silent prayer for opening day!

I think that eventually the press box will be named after Van Miller.

I think Berman is very much a fair weather fan compared to Russert.

I realize I'm dreaming but the most poetic thing the Bills could do in honor of Russert is win the Super Bowl.

That would be awesome! Sort of like The New Orleans Saints having that great season post Hurricane Katrina. They were America's Underdogs and we cheered them on!

How? Berman picked the Bills for like 10 years in a row to win the Super Bowl. He's an admitted fan and has Bills bias when he does his shows.

The thing is that Burman's not a born and raised Buffaloinian like Tim,but I do give Chris alot of :respect: .

Wouldn't that make him even more of fan? Russert naturally became a Bills fan, Berman had to you grow into being one.

I do think that Russert does deserve some sort of recognition by the Bills. He was a great ambassador for the team as a die hard fan.
As for who is a bigger fan Russert or Berman I could care less. The important thing is being a Bills fan.

Russert is already being honored, by the 12th man.

Do a scoreboard thing at the opener, just after player intros that ends with him saying "Go Bills."

That is enough, and that would be unbelievable.

Good thing I actually read this thread. For a second there I thought it was being suggested that there should be a plague at the Ralph.

Why? Because he's not a homer and doesn't pick the Bills to win every week?
