View Full Version : At least 3 Bills will be cut by August 27th.

According to NFL rules, all teams need to cut their teams to a total of 65 players by August 27th. If my calculations are correct, Buffalo currently has 68 active players and will need to cut at least 3 by tomorrow. The choices are getting more and more difficult. Who gets the axe?

dose that 68 include the 4 from nfle? because its my understanding that they dont count against what we need to cut until our final roster

No it does not. I intentionally subtracted them from my original count of 72. Infact, now that you mention it David Dinkins is on the IR list. That would bing the new total to 69 and at least 4 players that will be chopped from the Bill's roster by tomorrow.

I predict DT Pat Williams, QB Drew Bledsoe, LB London Fletcher, and OT Jonas Jennings.....they're all stiffs. ;)

no...not yet...best bet is to get him to take a pay cut down to a million and keep him for depth...can never have enough OL.
